The first year that this website covered Softball (the year before it was strictly Basketball) was 2006 and the fourth game
of the season was at Saint Marys, a 5-0 Lady Bison win. I'm pretty sure that Kenny Knepp was home-plate umpire that
day too. This is not to be confused with the time a couple years earlier at Ridgway when he threatened me and about six
parents with ejection from a Basketball game: "I'll throw out that whole top row." One of the parents threatened was
Bob Dixon who in '06 became the new Softball coach with his daughter Hilaree being starting pitcher.

second in d9 that year.
Notice the temporary outfield fence
back then. Before turf was laid on
the football field they used the
