The third season of Clearfield Little League
Softball kicked off Saturday May 16th.

After a brief opening celebration with introductions of the teams, welcoming of distinguished
guests and ceremonial first pitch the games got under way around noon at C.H.S.
The league now consists of Twenty-Five teams ( up from four in 2013 and eleven last year )
of girls from the ages of 9 to 12 and is guided by the coaches of the Clearfield Area Junior/Senior
High School Softball programs, principally Bob Lewis, Fred Redden, Todd Vanderburgh
and Jeff Kavelak as well as the invaluable help of the players' parents and other volunteers
and new League President Bill Bishop. The League now consist of teams
representing five area school districts ~ Clearfield, Curwensville,
Glendale, Moshannon Valley & West Branch.
